We use third party HR consultants to help us provide our bespoke CV writing service, this involves us, amongst other things, processing and storing information (including, without limitation, sensitive personal data) and passing or making available online such information to the HR Consultants in order to provide a quality service.
We may also share aggregate information with selected third parties, without disclosing individual names or identifying information. We may collect and store aggregate data from the information supplied by you to help us to understand our users as a group so that we can provide you with a better service. You consent to us using information provided by you (including without limitation, sensitive personal data) in each of these ways.
Please note that all third party HR consultants have agreed to our terms and conditions and should they be found to be in breach of these terms and conditions, they will have their contract terminated with immediate effect.
We will process any data which you provide in completing the online registration and any further forms, assessments or personal details which you complete or provide us when using this site in accordance with UK data protection legislation. We explain more about your personal data in our privacy policy.

5) Content Rights

The rights in material on this site are protected by international copyright, software and trademark laws and you agree to use this site in a way which does not infringe these rights. You may copy material on this site for your own private or domestic purposes, but no copying for any commercial or business use is permitted.


6) Security and passwords

9) Changes to terms and conditions and invalidity.

These web site terms and conditions may be changed by us at any time. You will be deemed to accept the terms and conditions (as amended) when you next use this site following any amendment.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect.

10) Cancellations

All products may be cancelled up to 7 days after purchase, without reason by the Consumer, except where products have already been dispatched, as a result of the purchase. Full payment for professional CV writing services will be taken at the time of booking. If the professional CV writing service have been purchased then the following cancellation rules apply;

Cancellation up to 7 working days prior to the consultation being undertaken with a consultant 5% will be deducted from the refund for administration charges.

Cancellation up to 4 working days prior to the consultation being undertaken with a consultant 25% will be deducted from the refund.

Cancellation up to 2 working days prior to the consultation being undertaken with a consultant 50% will be deducted from the refund.

Cancellation up to 1 working day prior to the consultation being undertaken with a consultant 75% will be deducted from the refund.

Cancellation within 1 working day of the consultation being undertaken with a consultant no refund will be given

Refunds due will be returned within 30 days of cancellation to the purchaser.

11) Completion

You will be provided with a copy of your CV, by email, five days following consultation. Any chosen alterations following your review are FREE up to seven days following this date. Any amendments required after 7 days will be charged at £12.50 plus VAT per hour to be undertaken.
All CV's will be formatted in Microsoft word unless otherwise agreed at the time of consultation. If you want to convert your CV into another format then you will do so at your own risk. Alterations that are then required due to your reformatting will be charged at our hourly rate.

Any amendments made by you following the receipt of your new CV that have been made without prior agreement, will result in no further work being undertaken or guarantees being upheld.

 

12) Disclaimer

All advice offered on this site and by The CV Engineer is given in good faith and is provided ‘as is’. We accept no responsibility if you should suffer loss or damage as a result of taking our advice.
